Celtics honored at 'A Night for Haiti'

Celtics owner Steve Pagliuca accepts the UNICEF Champion for Children's award on behalf of the Shamrock Foundation.After owners, players, staff, and fans banded together earlier this year to raise $100,000 for earthquake-devastated Haiti, the Celtics and their Shamrock Foundation were honored Thursday night with the UNICEF Champion for Children's award during “A Night for Haiti” benefit at the House of Blues.

The event featured a live auction with guest auctioneer Glen Davis and a performance by Boyz II Men (the Celtics' Twitter feed noted the band was "absolutely bringing the house down. Tossing roses out to the crowd. And they haven't even played "End of the Road" yet.")
