The Celtics finish at No. 12 in the final regular-season edition of ESPN.com's weekly NBA Power Rankings.

Writes Marc Stein: "It would appear that the performance last month in Dallas that wowed me so did not resurrect the 2008 Celtics. It would appear that the creaky Celts are still feeling the after-effects of that display ... three weeks later."

The Celtics, who peaked at No. 1 in the power rankings in December, finish in front of a trio of fellow Eastern Conference playoff squads in Miami (13), Charlotte (14) and Milwaukee (15). But considering their lofty perch four months ago, it's a disappointing to finish well behind the brass of both conferences.
