QUINCY -- A collection of Celtics coaches, players, and front-office staff converged at Granite Links Golf Club Thursday for the 3rd annual Shamrock Classic benefiting the team's Shamrock Foundation. Check out the video above as Nate Robinson, Oliver Lafayette, and Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge navigate the putting green before the scramble format event teed off around noon.
Robinson reacted with the same sort of energy as he displays on the basketball court as putts sailed past the hole. Meanwhile, Ainge called coach Doc Rivers over to bust Lafayette's chops as his Adidas spikes were carving up the green. Decked out in basketball shorts, Robinson, Lafayette, and Tony Gaffney did their best to blend in on the course of a less familiar sport. More news and notes to come, check out more photos below.
