Jermaine O’Neal, who has been out since Nov. 8 with lingering soreness in his left knee, returned to the lineup Saturday for the Celtics. O’Neal, who was signed as a free agent this offseason, missed 19 games (the last one due to the flu). In seven games before he was sidelined, O’Neal averaged 5.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

O'Neal scored on his first shot attempt, little more than a minute after checking into the game late in the first quarter, putting Boston out front for the first time (after Orlando scored the game's first 13 points).
