KG's blog: Each game is important

4/6/2011

Celtics forward Kevin Garnett filed another entry to his ANTA blog after Tuesday's win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Two key thoughts from Garnett:

* "We have to treat each game like it’s the most important or teams are going to kick the crap out of us."

* "Good win for us and heading to Chitown to see DRose and old coach Tibs. What to give a shout out to Shaq as he’s trying his hardest to get back to us! Keep pushing!"

Here's the full entry (like a good copy editor, we'll politely note that KG goofed on the game number and the number of 3-pointers Ray Allen connected on, but, hey, that's the media's job not his):

Game #76 of 82 against the 76ers……

Nothing to say pregame, except, have to get going and build momentum for the playoffs. We have to treat each game like it’s the most important or teams are going to kick the crap out of us. Everyone wants to win, so warmed the body up and boom…. Gametime.

Started out with tons of looks from Rondo, Ray and Paul, so had to take them. Felt good and shooting well. Team fought back and forth until the second half. We came out and jumped out quick to grab the lead. They fought back and then Paul hit a 3, Ray hit 2 threes and we separated for the rest of the night. Good win for us and heading to Chitown to see DRose and old coach Tibs. What to give a shout out to Shaq as he’s trying his hardest to get back to us! Keep pushing!
