Sources: Celtics open to trading Rondo

There was an interesting tidbit of information that made its way into the final line of ESPN NBA Insider Chris Broussard's latest blog entry that might be of interest to Celtics fans:

While Boston is not shopping Rajon Rondo, it would be open to trading him in the right deal, sources say. The Celtics feel they need more scoring to take the load off Paul Pierce.


What do you think? The Celtics are sure to be cap-strapped and might not be able to make many big additions to help on the scoring front without making some major changes. While Rondo can be brilliant at times, he is also maddeningly inconsistent and is not much of a scoring threat.
