Let's go to the tape: Lee's scrimmage dunk

On Wednesday evening, Celtics guard Courtney Lee took to Twitter to celebrate a practice dunk on a tall-but-nameless teammate:

Of course, all this did was fuel speculation about who it was (poor rookie center Fab Melo seemed the logical target). Not that anyone questioned the dunk, but Lee came back with video evidence on Thursday. It's Zapruder quality at best, but Lee can be seen running a give-and-go that finishes with a one-handed baseline slam over what appears to be a late-rotating Melo.

Maybe more impressive is the feed from Lee's teammate, who splits a pair of defenders, including Rajon Rondo, who appears to be guarding Lee on the play. Hop HERE to watch the play.

The Celtics rookies (Melo, Jared Sullinger, Kris Joseph, Jamar Smith, and Dionte Christmas) have been practicing in Waltham for a few weeks now (trekking back and forth from Boston with weekend breaks) and some veteran players have started to arrive as well (Jason Terry and Rondo among those spotted in Waltham). Kevin Garnett is on a promotional tour of China this week and players don't have to be into town until training camp opens later this month.
