Rondo's flagrant upheld

The flagrant-1 foul assessed to Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo in the final moments of Tuesday's season-opening loss to the Miami Heat was upheld upon video review, according to a league spokesman.

Rondo was assessed the flagrant after corralling Heat guard Dwyane Wade by the neck area as he drove to the basket in the final seconds of the fourth quarter in Miami's 120-107 triumph at AmericanAirlines Arena.
