Top 3 prospects skipping combine

The NBA's draft combine appears to have lost a bit of its luster:

Guard Andrew Wiggins has joined center Joel Embiid and forward Jabari Parker and decided not to participate in this week's NBA draft combine, sources told ESPN.com.

Duke's Parker and Kansas' Wiggins and Embiid are considered the top three prospects in this year's draft.

Kentucky forward Julius Randle and Australian guard Dante Exum -- both projected high lottery picks -- are expected to attend this year's combine, which will be held this week in Chicago.

Last year's No. 1 pick, Anthony Bennett, skipped the combine due to a shoulder injury.

The NBA's draft lottery is set for May 20 when the Celtics, with a 10.3 percent chance at the top pick, will find out the drafting position for one of two first-round picks. The percentages peg Boston to pick either fifth or sixth overall, which would put the likes of Randle and Exum on the team's radar if it held onto the pick.
