Wallace ejected from Friday's game
BOSTON -- Celtics reserve forward Rasheed Wallace was hit with a pair of technical fouls and ejected from Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers after arguing with referee Bill Kennedy.
Wallace picked up three fouls in nine minutes of action and was visibly upset with the calls against him. During a timeout midway through the second quarter, Wallace continued jawing with Kennedy and was hit with a the technicals, causing his disqualification.
An angry Wallace tried to approach Kennedy as the technicals were awarded, but was restrained by teammates and coaches, then ushered into the tunnel behind the Celtics' bench.
Wallace finished with five points and three bounds.
This isn't the first run-in between the Celtics and Kennedy. Last year, both coach Doc Rivers and Kennedy were fined for their actions in last year's playoff series between the Celtics and Bulls.
