C's, Magic see ratings boost

Fernando Medina/Getty ImagesWith a quality five-game slate, the NBA's Christmas broadcasts on ESPN and ABC drew the largest cumulative holiday audience ever. According to fast national ratings, the Celtics-Magic tilt garnered a 4.6 rating (an increase of 39 percent over last year's matchup between the same teams). What's more, the game earned an 11.5 metered market rating in Boston (compared to an 8 in Orlando).
