Wallace fined $10K for profane language

By Chris Forsberg

The NBA fined Boston Celtics forward Gerald Wallace $10,000 for using profane language following a 109-85 loss to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.

Asked about the team's lackluster effort, Wallace told reporters in Houston, "I don’t know what the f--- that was, to be honest."

The Rockets jumped to an 18-1 lead in the first quarter, the Celtics missing their first 10 shots from the field over the first five minutes. Houston led by as many as 35 points in a blowout that was never close. The Celtics, losers of four straight at 4-8, shot a season-low 32.3 percent from the floor.
