Positive impact: Sullinger tops in plus/minus

By Chris Forsberg

We've spent a bunch of time recently gushing about Jared Sullinger (HERE, THERE, EVERYWHERE), but we'll keep saying it: Sullinger is Boston's best two-way player at the moment and the team's most entrenched building block. But to hammer home his value, a look at Boston's current plus-minus for its 11 regulars (keeping in mind that the team as a whole is minus-69 for the season):

+44 - Sullinger
-6 - Phil Pressey
-13 - Kris Humphries
-19 - Jordan Crawford, Courtney Lee
-29 - Jeff Green
-50 - Kelly Olynyk
-53 - Vitor Faverani
-63 - Brandon Bass
-66 - Avery Bradley
-68 - Gerald Wallace

Sullinger isn't just plus-44 this season, the Celtics are a staggering minus-113 when he's off the court. Plus/minus isn't a perfect indicator of an individual's success, but it's hard to ignore Sullinger's insane lead over the rest of his teammates.
