Former Knicks center Jerome Jordan will play on their summer league team in Las Vegas this July, his agent, Todd Ramasar, confirmed with ESPNNewYork.com. Jordan will also play on the Celtics' summer league team in Orlando.

The 7-foot Jordan, a second-round pick of the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2010 draft (44th overall), appeared in 21 games for the Knicks during the 2011-12 season, averaging 2 points and 1.3 rebounds over 5.1 minutes per game in his only NBA ation. The 26-year-old center, who was a NBA D-League All-Star last season (averaging 12.4 points and 7.6 rebonds over 29.8 minutes per game), and was scheduled to play in the Philippines this spring.

In need of big-man depth this past season, the Celtics signed Shavlik Randolph and D.J. White out of the Chinese Basketball Association late in the year. Both players have nonguaranteed contracts for next season and will join Jordan on Boston's summer squad in Orlando.
