Four Mass. hoopsters in 2015 ESPN 100

By Jack McCluskey

The new 2015 ESPN 100 is out, and four Massachusetts prospects made Recruiting Nation’s list.

They are (in order of appearance):

Besides calling Massachusetts home, what do three of these four players have in common? They at least have Boston College on their radar, according to Recruiting Nation.

Josh Sharma, Terance Mann and Aaron Falzon each has an offer from the Eagles.

And according to Northfield Mount Hermon basketball’s Twitter account, both Sharma and Falzon took unofficial visits to Chestnut Hill this week.

There’s a long, long way to go for the Class of 2015, and it would be folly to read too much into a couple of unofficial visits (especially considering Sharma took an unofficial visit to UConn -- the defending national champ -- the next day).

But the latest ESPN 100 makes it clear there’s local talent to be had for BC, if new coach Jim Christian can convince players, their families and coaches that things are looking up in Chestnut Hill.

And if you follow Christian on Twitter (@BCJimChristian), you know he’s already drawn a bead on New England (very loosely defined) when it comes to recruiting:
