One month after Springfield Putnam's Melquawn Pinkney set a Western Mass. single-game rushing record with 421 yards, the Beavers' rivals on the other side of Blunt Park, Springfield Central (the two share a practice field), comes back with an eye-opening performance of its own. Running back Sacoy Malone, a fellow Midseason All-Stater, set schools records for the Golden Eagles last Friday night, rushing for 301 yards and seven touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Northampton.
