Bramanti named Westford basketball coach

Chris Bramanti is the new boys’ varsity basketball coach at Westford Academy, per a press release today from athletic director Dan Twomey.

An English teacher at the school for the past 14 years, Bramanti has served in various roles on the basketball staff under retiring head coach Ed Scollan for 13 years. Bramanti also brings 20-plus years of coaching experience outside of the Grey Ghosts program, including involvement in many summer AAU and summer league programs throughout the area.

“I’m incredibly thrilled and excited about the opportunity to be the next basketball coach at WA," Bramanti said in the release. "I obviously have huge shoes to fill, but I’m ready for the challenge."
