Four squads enter latest boys' soccer Top 20

With the 2012 season starting to take shape, there were some moves in this week's MIAA boys' soccer Top 20 poll worth noting.

Jumping up from No. 7 up to No. 3 is Weymouth. The Wildcats' 5-0 record will be put to the test this week when they host No. 9 Needham. Speaking of the Rockets, they have been hit with an early season injury bug, but despite missing several key players they rallied from 2-0 to draw with Framingham, 2-2.

No. 1 Ludlow dropped points for the first time this season, but remain undefeated, and unmoved atop our poll. Concord-Carlisle jumps into the No. 2 spot at the expense of Groton-Dunstable, which is winless since opening day. Also taking a major slip is Wellesley, which has lost two conference games in a row. Watch out for the Raiders to bounce back in the coming weeks.

Also into the poll this week are Oliver Ames, Sharon, Hingham and Dartmouth, who are all enjoying undefeated seasons so far, but the Indians face a tough test on Thursday when they travel to No.7 New Bedford.

Games to Watch:

Wednesday - No. 9 Needham at No. 3 Weymouth

Thursday - No. 20 Dartmouth at No. 7 New Bedford
