Westford's Drapeau commits to Loyola

Westford Academy junior attack Jay Drapeau has committed to play lacrosse at reigning Division 1 NCAA champion Loyola, the Grey Ghosts' official Twitter account announced today. He will join the Greyhounds' class of 2014 recruiting class.

Drapeau was among the state scoring leaders last season, tallying 122 points (96 G, 27 A). In his sophomore season, Drapeau was also named an Eastern Mass. All-American by the Lacrosse Coaches Association and was a second-team selection on the ESPN Boston All-State team in the spring.

He is also a standout on the Grey Ghosts hockey team, finishing second on the team in scoring last season with 14 goals and 25 assists for 49 points.
