Marshfield returns to the MIAA boys' hockey Top 25 poll for the first time in the 2012-13 season, making its debut at No. 25 this week.

The Rams were only new team in the fold this week, as there was little movement to the poll this week.

TOP 5 SHUFFLE
There was some movement to the Top 5, however. St. John's Prep moves into the No. 2 hole, after claiming a hard-fought 3-2 victory over BC High, which slid to No. 3. Also, Austin Prep climbed to No. 4 after Catholic Memorial fell to No. 8 after going winless in its last five games. Reading ascended back to No. 5.

HAWKS FLYING
Xaverian made the biggest jump this week, in a pretty quiet week, moving up three spots to No. 14, following their first Catholic Conference win of the season, a 4-2 win over Malden Catholic on Tuesday.
