Matignon High School officially announced this morning the hire of Billerica's Sean Glavin as its new head boys basketball coach. Glavin comes to the Cambridge-based school after five years on Billerica High's staff as a varsity assistant.

Matignon High School has announced Sean Glavin as the new head coach for the Boys Basketball program. Glavin joins the Warrior staff after spending the last five seasons at Billerica Memorial High School as an Assistant Varsity/Head Freshman basketball coach. Glavin has also coached in the Billerica Memorial High School baseball program for the last five years and currently is the Varsity Offensive Line Coach for the Indians football team. Glavin is a 2006 graduate of Nichols College where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Glavin also participated on the football and baseball teams at Nichols College earning All-League honors. Glavin is a 2002 graduate of Billerica Memorial High School where he was a three-sport captain and earned nine varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball.

Sean resides in Billerica and is the Director of Operations and Facilities at Merrimack Special Education Collaborative.
