BB&N's Tarantino commits to Middlebury

Buckingham, Browne & Nichols senior forward Nick Tarantino has verbally committed to Middlebury College, his AAU program the Boston Warriors announced tonight.

The Boston Warriors are happy to announce that long time player Nick Tarantino of BB&N has been admitted via early decision and has committed to NESCAC power Middlebury. The 6-foot-7 big man’s inside out game will fit in perfectly with the perennial Division 3 top 20 team.

Last season Nick demonstrated an outside element to go with his inside play, averaging a double-double with 15.3 points and a league-leading 13.2 rebounds per game, which earned his him All-ISL first team recognition.

This season he has lead BB&N to their best start (4-1) is the last 20 years, including a 23-point, 17-rebound game in a win over Middlesex.

Nick joins Kyle Howes (Merrimack) and Asante Sandiford (Franklin Pierce) as the first 3 to commit out of a very talented senior class including Joe Carty (St. Andrews) , Shane Farley & Christian Mornewick (Burlington), Duby Maduegbunam (KUA), Shaquan Murray & Fred Rivers (New Mission), Kameron Nobles (Governors Academy), Brian Mukasa (Sharon), Blaine Taylor (Concord-Carisle), Jack Winston (Needham) and Malique McLaren (Winchendon).
