WESTON, Mass =– The Rivers School’s Jen Berkowitz ’14 was named a 2014 nominee for the McDonald’s All-American Game. Of the 10 players nominated in the state of Massachusetts, Berkowitz was the only girl.

Berkowitz, a Wayland resident, has twice been named to the All-ISL and All-New England teams, and was this season named the Most Valuable Player at The Rivers School Holiday Tournament. In those two years Rivers has gone 40-4.

Berkowitz is the third McDonald’s All-American nominee to play for Coach Bob Pipe, now in his 15th season at the helm for the Red Wings. Past recipients of this honor are Clare Sullivan ’11 and Emilee Daley ’13.

Berkowitz will be continuing her education, and her career, at Yale University in the fall.
