Snapshot: The Wednesday night scene in MIAA hoop

OK, so where do we start with tonight's fan frenzy?

Everywhere, it seemed, fans across the state were in their element. Here's my favorite photos of the night:

First things first, let's start with this posterizing dunk from Belmont freshman Jalyn Hinton, in the Marauders' win over Latin Academy. Remember this name, this kid's got some potential:

In case you missed it, Braintree's fabled "Wamp Nation" engaged in an epic dance-off at halftime of their battle with Newton North. Seriously, these Braintree kids are on a Koufaxian run this week with their fan antics.

I, too, once fit nine people into a car back in my UMass days. Not as fun as advertised, folks:

"Neon Night" at Bishop Feehan was so successful the first time they did it, they decided to bring it back for the playoffs:

Gotta love the classic "newspaper" maneuver, an oldie but goodie:

Another night, another student section falling asleep:

Now free of Sochi Olympics obligations, #NightmareBear made an appearance at Wellesley High on Wednesday night:

Massive crowd tonight at Needham for the Rockets' D1 South First Round win over Durfee. Correspondent Mike Abelson passes along a few photos:

Best of the rest:
