Video: Lynn English's Hogan announces resignation

BOSTON -- In an emotional, teary-eyed postgame interview with the Boston area media at TD Garden following a 59-41 loss to Braintree in the MIAA Division 1 Eastern Mass. final, Lynn English head coach Fred Hogan announced he is stepping down after nine years at the helm.

Under Hogan, the Bulldogs went 4-16 in his first season then reached the Division 1 North tournament every year following. This season, led by the dynamic duo of Catherine Stinson and Diondra Woumn, the Bulldogs experienced an explosive breakthrough, sitting at No. 2 in's statewide poll at the end of the regular season and going 25-0 before losing tonight.
