Top MIAA hoop performances: March 11

Each and every night throughout the MIAA basketball playoff season, we will highlight the state's top performances. Here are my top performances from Tuesday's slate of MIAA basketball state semifinals play.

1. Brianna Rudolph, Sr. G, St. Mary's (Lynn)
Accounted for two-thirds of the Spartans' scoring in their 47-45 thriller over Archbishop Williams for the D3 EMass title, scoring 31 points and adding 11 rebounds.

2. Taj Lewis, Sr. F, Longmeadow
Led the Lancers with 30 points and 13 rebounds in their D2 Central/West Final victory over Nashoba.

3. Joey Crane, Sr. F, Cardinal Spellman
For the second time in three playoff games, hit the tying basket to rally the Cardinals from down 10 points or more with just five minutes left, as the Cards beat Watertown in overtime for the D3 EMass title. Recorded 20 points and eight rebounds.

4. Austin Coene, Jr. G, Tyngsborough
Filled up the stat sheet with 23 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in the Tigers' D3 Central/West win over Sabis.

5. Kendra Hicks, Sr. F, Springfield Central
Another stat sheet-filling performance with 18 points, 11 rebounds, six blocks and three steals in the Golden Eagles' D1 Central/West loss to Westford Academy.

6. Demiana Fogarty, Soph. C, Arlington Catholic
The 6-foot post was a force around the basket, collecting 16 rebounds (12 defensive) and adding four blocks as the Cougars beat Duxbury in the D2 EMass Final.

7. T.J. Hairston, Jr. F, Watertown
Collected 19 rebounds and added 13 points in the Raiders' loss to Cardinal Spellman.

8. David Murrell, Sr. F, Springfield Putnam
Scored 23 points, including his 1,000th, in the Beavers' D1 Central/West win over St. John's of Shrewsbury.

9. Bam Rivers, Sr. F, New Mission
Recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the Titans' win over Milton for the D2 EMass title.

10. Jonathan Dor, Sr. G, Concord-Carlisle
Scored 22 points in the Patriots' D2 Central/West win over Longmeadow.
