Malden Catholic's Collier commits to BU


Brendan Collier of No. 1-ranked Malden Catholic hockey has committed to Boston University, he told ESPN Boston on Thursday.

The junior winger has 10 goals and 18 assists through eight games for the Blue Blades.

It was reported that Terriers head coach Jack Parker was in attendance for Malden Catholic's game against New Jersey powerhouse Delbarton earlier this season, a game the Lancers won 3-0. Collier was also being recruited by Harvard, Merrimack, University of New Hampshire and Providence College.
