New Hampton's Auguste, Vonleh visit UConn

ESPN's Adam Finkelstein reports today on his recruiting blog that New Hampton teammates Zach Auguste and Noah Vonleh took unofficial visits to UConn yesterday afternoon, citing Mass Rivals AAU coach Vin Pastore.

Vonleh was the No. 23 prospect in the Class of 2013 and a member of ESPNBoston's inaugural MIAA All-State Team this past winter at Haverhill High. He has since transferred into the New Hampton, N.H. campus and re-classified to the Class of 2014, where he is now ranked the No. 10 prospect nationally by ESPNU. Boston College, Pitt and Kansas have all offered, while Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisville, Florida and Texas are all showing interest.

Finkelstein reports that this is Vonleh's third unofficial visit of the month, after previously visiting BC and Providence.

Finkelstein reports a now-lengthy list of Division 1 suitors that have offered the Marlborough-bred Auguste, including Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Washington State, Oregon State, Penn State, DePaul, Providence, Virginia, Virginia Tech and BC.
