Duxbury rising senior Andrew Buron has committed to Stony Brook, as indicated on the Laxachusetts Minutemen lacrosse club's website.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound midfielder is a member of Laxachusetts' 2012 AA team that claimed the championship at the King of the Hill Lacrosse Tournament in Swarthmore, Penn. last month.

Buron was a part of Duxbury's eighth state championship team in the last decade this season and also was a running back/linebacker on the Dragons' Division 2A Super Bowl championship team last fall.
