St. Mark's Murphy cuts list to seven
ESPN's Adam Finkelstein is reporting on his blog today that St. Mark's junior forward Alex Murphy has trimmed his list of schools to seven. Arizona, Boston College, Duke, Florida, Kansas, North Carolina and West Virginia have survived the short list, while Butler, Syracuse, Texas and Villanova are gone from the list.
Murphy, a South Kingstown, R.I. native and the younger brother of Florida sophomore forward Erik Murphy, is the top-ranked small forward in the country for the Class of 2012, according to ESPNU. He is the No. 7 overall player in the class.
