Marblehead's Millett commits to Holy Cross
By Scott Barboza
Marblehead senior quarterback Matt Millett has committed to Holy Cross, Magicians head coach Jim Rudloff told ESPN Boston today.
Millett will play wide receiver with the Crusaders.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder missed a portion of his junior year due to injury, but bounced back for a big year in 2013. Millett completed 115 of 193 passing attempts on the year for 1,608 yards and 18 touchdowns, while adding four more rushing touchdowns. He ran for 582 yards. Also a cornerback for the Magicians, Millett contributed 15 tackles from his cornerback position.
Millett is also a point guard on Marblehead's basketball squad.
"Matt was injured and missed most of his junior year," Rudloff wrote, "so for him to have the senior year he did, is a true testament to the hard work he put in this summer."
