Snapshot: English's Hogan scores 1,000th point

Headed into last night's highly-anticipated battle with Northeastern Conference rival Danvers, Lynn English senior guard Freddy Hogan Jr. needed 16 points to pass the 1,000-point plateau for his career. After being bottled up for just one basket in the first half, Hogan exploded for 20 in the second, finishing with 22 as the Bulldogs rallied past the Falcons in a thrilling finish.

Hogan is the second Bulldog in as many weeks to pass the 1,000th point barrier. Back on Jan. 17, girls captain Catherine Stinson achieved the feat.
