Buckingham, Browne & Nichols tight end/defensive end Gerry Nvule has picked up two Division 1 scholarship offers, per head coach Mike Willey.
The two offers for Nvule, a Winchester resident, come from both tiers of college football's highest division -- one from Holy Cross (FCS), and the other from UMass (FBS).
"Gerry has worked extremely hard both in the classroom and on and off the field at BB&N," Willey said. "Our whole program is very proud of Gerry and couldn't be more happy for him."
Holy Cross also has an offer extended to another in-state tight end in the 2015 class, St. John's Prep's Jake Burt. Meanwhile, Nvule is the latest of a number of in-state juniors to receive an offer from UMass, joining Xaverian defensive end Joe Gaziano, Everett defensive back Lukas Denis, Amherst athlete Taj-Amir Torres, Brockton offensive lineman Aaron Monteiro, Mansfield tight end Brendan Hill, and Lawrence Academy tight end/linebacker Chris Garrison.
