Boston High School: Monte Graham

Thayer Academy's Graham commits to BC

October, 30, 2014
Thayer Academy hockey forward Monte Graham has committed to Boston College, Tigers head coach Tony Amonte tells ESPN Boston.

The left-handed shot and 1998 birth year is expected to arrive at Chestnut Hill for the 2017-18 season. Last year in his sophomore year at Thayer, Graham posted 9-12-21 totals in 26 games played.

"He is great two-way player that plays the game with a tremendous amount of grit," Amonte said. "Having a very high skill level mixed with a great work ethic makes him an ideal D1 prospect."

Graham, a Hanover native, was selected by the Tri-City Storm of the USHL and also by the Saint John Sea Dogs in last year's QHMJHL draft.

The news of Graham's commitment was first reported by SBNation's Jeff Cox.
