The final roster for this summer's Warrior 40 was released on Thursday, and one local player learned he's gotten the nod.
Governor's Academy midfielder and UNC commit Tate Jozokos will be the lone Massachusetts school representative on this year's roster.
Here's what ESPNHS lacrosse editor Mike Loveday had to say about the multi-sport athlete today:
"This smooth midfielder is easy to recognize on the field. Blessed with good size and athleticism at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Jozokos is most dangerous transitioning from defense to offense when he has opponents on their heels. If you leave him open he has a great time-and-room shot with his left hand and is improving his dodging on the run."
The Warrior 40 is a three-day competition that features the nation's top underclass high school lacrosse players. Players will receive coaching from Major League Lacrosse stars and participate in skills competitions and a final competition.
This year's competition takes place Aug. 13-15 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.
