FOXBOROUGH -- A few quick hits to wrap up the day at Gillette Stadium:

Facing undefeated teams: Ed from Hartford had submitted a question to the mailbag on ESPNBoston.com and the answer is in -- the Patriots are the first team in NFL history to face seven undefeated teams in a season. When the Patriots faced the Bills, Jets, Falcons, Ravens, Broncos, Colts and Saints, those teams did not have a loss.

Throwback uniforms make final appearance: The Patriots will wear their throwback uniforms for the fourth and final time this season when they face the Dolphins Sunday in Miami. The Patriots are 2-1 in the throwbacks, with wins over the Bills and Titans, and a loss to the Broncos.

Randy Moss set to join Jerry Rice: Randy Moss has 992 receiving yards on the season, and is primed to join Jerry Rice as the only players in NFL history to record 10 seasons with 1,000 receiving yards.

Ricky Williams on a hot streak: The Patriots will have their hands full with Dolphins running back Ricky Williams Sunday. Williams, 32, has topped the 100-yard rushing mark in three consecutive games. If he hits 100 Sunday, he will join Jerome Bettis as the only players to rush for 100 yards in four consecutive games in a single season at the age of 32 or older.
