Delhomme out for Panthers

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Panthers will be without injured veteran quarterback Jake Delhomme for Sunday's game against the Patriots, coach John Fox told reporters Friday. Delhomme also missed last week's game with an broken finger on his right hand.

Matt Moore is expected to start for the second straight week. Veteran A.J. Feeley, who has had success against the Patriots in the past, is the top backup.

Veteran defensive end Tyler Brayton (concussion) has also been ruled out by the Panthers.
