FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Injured defensive linemen Vince Wilfork and Ty Warren were present for the start of practice Wednesday after missing Sunday's win over the Bills.
The possible return of Wilfork (foot) and Warren (ankle) would be a major boost as the Patriots prepare to face Jacksonville's Maurice Jones-Drew, who is third in the NFL in rushing (1,246 yards, 15 rushing TDs). Wilfork and Warren are the Patriots' best run defenders.
Wilfork and Warren were listed as limited in the official practice report issued later in the day.
Elsewhere, quarterback Tom Brady (ribs/right finger/right shoulder), receiver Randy Moss (presumably not injury related) and outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain (shoulder) were not spotted at the start of practice.
