1. This is the Patriots' 12th division title and 17th playoff berth.
2. Quarterback Tom Brady improved to 20-0 in his last 20 regular-season home games and 23-0 including playoffs. The 20 straight regular-season wins at home are five shy of Brett Favre's record, set from 1995-98 with the Packers.
3. Wes Welker broke his own Patriots season receptions record, and his 13 catches give him 122 on the season.
4. Welker tied the NFL record for most 10-plus reception games in a season, notching his seventh game with 10 or more catches.
5. Randy Moss had his 35th NFL game with two or more receiving touchdowns. That is second in NFL history, behind only Jerry Rice (44).
6. Brandon Meriweather's first-quarter interception was his fifth of the season, establishing a career high. Meriweather is tied for the team lead with Leigh Bodden, marking the first time since 2003 that the Patriots have had two players with five or more interceptions (Ty Law and Tyrone Poole both had six in 2003).
7. Sammy Morris's 55-yard run in the second quarter tied his career high. While playing for Miami, he had a 55-yarder in 2006 against Detroit.
