With the Patriots solidifying their spot atop the AFC East, their 2010 opponents can now be finalized.
As part of the NFL's rotating schedule format, 14 of the 16 opponents are known in advance. The remaining two are based on where a team finishes, and in 2010, the Patriots will host the AFC South team which finished in the same spot in the standings, while visiting the AFC West team which finished in the same spot in the standings.
So the Patriots will host the Colts, and visit the Chargers.

Road 2010 opponents: Chargers, Browns, Steelers, Bears, Lions, Bills, Dolphins, Jets
