Kyle Arrington might not be a household name to Patriots fans, but what he's accomplished the last seven weeks has been extremely impressive and potentially puts him on a Larry Izzo/Larry Whigham-type path.

Arrington was credited by coaches with a season-high five special teams tackles Sunday against the Jaguars, and despite having played in just seven games, he now has 17 special teams tackles on the season (including a team-high 12 solo). That ties for the team lead.

Special teams tackles leaderboard:
CB Kyle Arrington -- 17
LB Pierre Woods -- 17
S Brandon McGowan -- 12
LB Eric Alexander -- 12
WR Sam Aiken -- 11
S Pat Chung -- 11
WR Matthew Slater -- 7
