The agent for free-agent cornerback Leigh Bodden has maintained an open dialogue with the Patriots, and while other clubs have expressed interest in Bodden, a return to New England remains on the radar.
"New England is definitely in the mix," agent Alvin Keels said today.
Keels said he has had discussions regarding Bodden with the Texans, Seahawks and Steelers. The Texans, who appear to be on the verge of losing cornerback Dunta Robinson to the Falcons, have expressed interest in arranging a visit, Keels said.
Bodden is coming off a solid season in New England in which he led the team with 17 passes defended and tied for the team lead with five interceptions. He's one of the top cornerbacks available on the open market.
