ORLANDO -- The first official day of the NFL's annual meeting will get off to an early start, with Patriots owner Robert Kraft meeting at 8 a.m. with reporters who cover the team.
At 9 a.m., Kraft will then enter a full day of NFL meetings. Kraft is considered one of the power brokers in the ownership ranks, so this will be an important meeting for him from a business perspective.
Commissioner Roger Goodell is expected to hold a press conference today, which figures to touch on some key league matters.
The league is expected to announce some prime-time games on Kickoff Weekend, as well as the Thanksgiving slate. The modified overtime proposal is also a hot topic of discussion here, and teams will also be awarded compensatory draft picks (the Patriots could receive as many as four).
More to come, through a Patriots-like lens, throughout the day.
