Patriots chat at 11

The scheduled time for Thursday's weekly Patriots chat on ESPNBoston.com has been moved up to 11 a.m. The reason for the change is that veteran tight end Alge Crumpler and veteran running back Fred Taylor are scheduled to answer questions from reporters at Gillette Stadium in the noontime hour.

Crumpler is in his first week in the Patriots' offseason program after challenging himself during a six-week personal training program with Mackie Shilstone. On Wednesday, it was noted that Crumpler's presence should help rookie tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez as they transition to the NFL.

Taylor, who spends the majority of his offseason training in Florida, arrived in town on Monday. His first season in New England last year was interrupted by a right ankle injury, and he returns to a position that was not addressed with a selection in the NFL draft, which has some of the team's followers concerned.
