Laurence Maroney was immense that day in the 2007 playoffs as the Patriots beat the Chargers 21-12 to earn a berth in Super Bowl XLII. He had 122 yards on 25 carries, with one touchdown.
It was arguably his best performance in his four seasons in New England and a reminder that the word "bust" is too harsh to describe Maroney's time in New England.
While Maroney did not reach first-round expectations and become the game-breaking threat many thought he would be -- in part because of injuries -- he was still a contributor to some very good teams.
Here is a look at today's media schedule as the Patriots prepare for Sunday's game against the Jets:
11:15-noon -- Media access to the locker room
11:15 a.m. -- Tom Brady media access
12:15 p.m. -- Bill Belichick press conference
1:05 p.m. -- Media access to practice
3 p.m. -- Rex Ryan conference call to New England
4 p.m. -- Injury report released
4:30 p.m. -- Mark Sanchez conference call to New England
