Quick-hit thoughts for fantasy football owners who might have Patriots or Jets players:

1. The Patriots had five trips inside the red zone last week, running 16 plays inside the Bengals' 20-yard line. Tight end Rob Gronkowski was on the field for 15 of those plays. This is a reflection of how when the space gets tight on the field, the Patriots view the 6-foot-6, 265-pound Gronkowski as a valuable weapon. Fellow tight end Aaron Hernandez was on the field for 10 of those red-zone plays.

2. Recent history says to not expect much from Randy Moss. In his last two games against Darrelle Revis, Moss totaled nine receptions for 58 yards. In Moss's last two games against Antonio Cromartie, he totaled four receptions for 44 yards.

3. Given the Jets' blitzing ways and their stingy play against the run, the Patriots figure to have Kevin Faulk as their primary running back. He is their best pass-protecting back, and the Patriots figure to be leaning heavier toward the pass.
