Arrington rises on special teams

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Cornerback Kyle Arrington has been one of the surprise performers for the Patriots this season.

In 2009, he was a top special teams player. But this year, he took over for Darius Butler at cornerback after the Week 2 loss to the Jets and has been there since.

One of the impressive aspects of Arrington's contributions is that he still remains a big presence on special teams, where he is tied for the team-lead with nine solo tackles.
