Pats-Jets: Contrast in penalty watch

The Patriots were flagged for five accepted penalties in their Thanksgiving win over the Lions, giving them 60 accepted penalties on the season. With an average of 5.45 accepted penalties per game, the Patriots tie for the seventh fewest in the NFL.

The penalties picked up against the Lions were against Logan Mankins (chop block), Alge Crumpler (illegal block above waist), Sergio Brown (illegal block above waist), Dan Connolly (offensive holding) and Patrick Chung (roughing the passer).
