In the video above, ESPNBoston.com’s Mike Reiss gives his three keys for the Patriots against the Packers on Sunday night:

1. Preparing for QB Aaron Rodgers: The Patriots have to get ready for Rodgers even though his status is uncertain (concussion). If Rodgers does play, can the Patriots defend him? He can beat you with both his feet and his arm. If he doesn’t play, things obviously get much easier for the Patriots’ defense.

2. Block Clay Matthews: He’s a high-motor, high-energy pass-rusher with double-digit sacks. The Packers figure to move Matthews around; New England will have to key on him and make sure he doesn’t get close to Tom Brady.

3. Balance on offense: One thing the Patriots have noticed in recent weeks is that the Packers are playing some “2-4” -- two big defensive linemen and four linebackers. If the Packers show that alignment, the Patriots could be able to pound the ball on the ground behind running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
