Putting on the amateur scouting hat

After spending four days at the NFL Combine, one can't help but get a better feel for some of the top prospects in the NFL Draft. One also earns a greater appreciation for how hard scouts work on a year-round basis as the Combine is just a small slice of the overall scouting process.

As a reporter, it offers the chance to play amateur scout, and with this in mind, a piece is now posted on ESPNBoston.com that identifies 10 possible Patriots targets at various points of the draft.

The prospects were selected based on interviews and/or their workout performances.
